Hell Hole
H E L L _ H O L E (Prototype)
An industrial employee wakes up beaten, bruised, and chained to a chair. Hearing a unfathomable noise and slowly being pulled towards a force outside, one can assume the drilled-out hole is retaliating in some way. This employee must escape the compound before the hole from hell consumes them.
Made within two weeks as a solo developer for Pizza Doggy's Horror Jam #4.
EDIT: There have been some reported problems with the web build upon starting another game loop, so it is recommended to play on one of the OS builds if you can.
Basic Controls
Mouse Movement - Look
[W][A][S][D] - Movement
[Space] - Jump
[E] - Interact
*Other controls will either be displayed on screen or in the top right, such as for the RAZR.
Developer Notes
Over the course of the two week jam, my focus was primarily on the behavior of the Hell Hole itself and secondly on the RAZR tool. As a result, I was not able to implement much to the flow of gameplay and story. I still think the atmosphere and components are neat though, so I decided to post this prototype anyways. Any input, comments, or criticism are appreciated. (Especially too if you have strategies for narrowing scope for game jams, since that has been my biggest issue so far)
If there are issues with any of the builds, please let me know so I can try to fix them.
